CV tips - How to create a CV
Advisory Note -
CV's are used as a tool of introducing your skills and background
as well as your personality to a prospective employer.
Every line manager has their own wish list of what they would
like to see on a C.V, as a result there is no such thing as
a prefect or ideal CV.
The ideas below are taken from over 30 combined years of
working at the cutting edge of recruitment. They are obviously
not full proof but may improve your chances on receiving an
offer to interview. (We obviously cannot accept liability
for the advice below).
New employers are looking for the right kind of person as
well as the right technical skills and experience, avoid the
temptation of elaborating on the truth or even lying about
any part of your skills and background. More and more organisations
are using referencing agency's before your new employment
begins, they will learn about your background and experience
during this process, if it doesn't match up with your C.V,
they will retract their offer of employment.
